JP the Great Stands in the Between the History of Reggae and Truth of the Moment

The first song of his that truly struck the radar over here was "Welcome to Texas" it seems he was able to say what the whole state implied, but couldn't be found to say. In the modern climate Texas is like a Wal-Mart where you can't find a friendly face up close, but they always seem to be politely scurrying away.

With "You're High" we realize that JP the Great is really in a "higher" dimension. From the future he let us know what many of us are scared to admit we're "high". High on ego, fear, anxiety, media, you name it. Somehow this escapism arrives on time in the present.
